I started sculpting in response to changes in my life, and try to depict human life and interactions. I originally trained as a doctor, and draw on my training in anatomy. I currently work as an epidemiologist, and my studies using genetic links between infectious organisms to track transmission inspired a new range of sculptures which were displayed in the Bloomsbury Festival in October 2016, and which are now on permanent display at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the School of Oriental and African Studies. Exhibitions in 2018 included an installation at the Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show, Hampton Court.
